Women in Technology Panel



In 2024, we partnered with the Business Technology Association to host the Women in Technology Panel. Five incredible speakers shared their experiences, insights, and career advice in the tech industry. The event was followed by a lively networking session, where students were able to connect with each of them!

Charting Your Course



This event featured a panel of four inspiring women in business, who shared their valuable insights and career advice. It provided an empowering opportunity for students to learn from their experiences and engage in discussions about navigating the business world.

Lunch & Learn


In December, we hosted our Lunch & Learn event featuring the incredible Kate Smith, Artistic Director of a Company of Fools. She shared her inspiring journey as a theatre director and creator, offering valuable insights into the creative process. Following the presentation, students had the opportunity to network and engage with Kate, asking questions and gaining further inspiration.

Balance & Brilliance



The Balance and Brilliance event marked WMN's first off-campus gathering, featuring an insightful panel discussion and workshop focused on key professional skills. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from and learn valuable insights shared by three remarkable women from the business world.

Shoot For The Stars Week



In March 2025, we hosted Shooting for the Stars Week, a dynamic series of events designed to inspire and empower. The week began with an exclusive executive office tour and networking event at Welch LLP. Participants then took part in an energizing spin class before wrapping up the week with a self-defense workshop in partnership with AETSA. Each year, Shooting for the Stars Week offers unique opportunities for personal growth and professional development, and we look forward to hosting this empowering event annually.

International Women's Day



As part of Shooting for the Stars Week, we hosted our International Women's Day Breakfast, a celebration of the achievements and contributions of women in business. The event featured engaging networking opportunities and an inspiring keynote address by Jane Jhaveri-Malt, a seasoned executive with experience at Tangerine Bank, IBM, and Scotiabank.

Leadership Lessons



To wrap up the year, we hosted our Leadership Lessons Panel, focusing on conflict management from a leadership perspective. The panel featured three amazing speakers and a workshop that covered strategies for handling workplace tensions, the role of gender and culture in conflict resolution, and leading teams through challenges. It was a valuable session that provided practical tools for effective leadership.
